Manufacturer's Scheduled Maintenance

Manufacturer's Scheduled Maintenance

Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance: Every 3,000 – 7,000 miles

The most common maintenance service you can do for your vehicle is the oil change and this should occur every 3,000 to 7,000 miles depending on your vehicle and oil type. If you get your oil changed at CJ’s Tire & Automotive, we will also perform a visual brake check, fluid level check, belt & hose inspection, battery check, tread depth and wear check, wiper check and exterior light check. You should also get your tires rotated and balanced every 6,000 miles. We will also give you an alignment check to ensure that your wheels are in the proper place, allowing you to get the most out of your tires.

Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance: Every 15,000 - 30,000 miles

Every 15,000 miles, you should get your air filter and cabin air filter replaced. Every 30,000 miles, your vehicle’s fuel filter should be replaced and we recommend a VPS Fuel System Service as well. Every 30,000 miles we recommend getting a VPS Transmission Service.

Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance: Every 60,000 miles

It is recommended that your replace your vehicle’s brake pads every 60,000 miles. While replacing the pads, we also recommend that you add a VPS Brake Fluid Exchange to keep your brakes in tip-top shape. CJ’s Tire & Automotive also recommends a VPS Power Steering Flush at this time.

Remember, these are general suggestions for scheduled maintenance. Make sure you consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual for services specific to your vehicle. Keeping up with scheduled maintenance is also the most cost-effective way to keep your vehicle running well over time. Not only that, but keeping up with scheduled maintenance is also a good way to help preserve your vehicle’s resale or trade-in value. Schedule an appointment at any of CJ’s Tire & Automotive locations today.
