COVID-19 Situation Update – March 19, 2020 6:20PM EDT

While Pennsylvania Gov. Wolf has ordered ‘all non life-sustaining’ businesses in state to close, we have confirmation as attached that “Automotive Repair and Maintenance” businesses may continue to operate.

All CJ’s retail facilities will be open: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm and Sat 8am – 12noon.

Serving Our Communities During the COVID-19 Emergency – March 17, 2020

At CJ’s Tire & Automotive, our number one priority for almost 50 years has been serving the local communities in which we conduct business by providing tires and automotive services that you can depend on. Now, during this COVID-19 national emergency we remain open to support the needs of consumers who require tires or automotive maintenance or repairs, including emergency vehicles.

Most importantly, please know that as a family-owned business, we value the health and well-being of all our employees and customers alike. In light of the concerns about the continued spread of coronavirus, we are doing everything we can to minimize the risk and prevent further contamination that could affect our team and our customers.

Steps that we are currently taking to ensure the safety of all who encounter our associates or visit our facilities include:

• Providing adequate availability of antibacterial soap and hand sanitizer
• Implementing additional cleaning measures with disinfectant cleaning solution including our customer waiting areas, restrooms, as well as high-traffic, high-touch surfaces
• Educating our team on the everyday precautions to help them stay healthy and prevent the spread of COVID-19
• Advising our team on the importance of staying home if they do not feel well
• Working with our vendor partners to minimize supply disruption and/or our ability to provide our customers with the products and services they need

CJ’s will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the suggestions by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), other health agencies and our local, state, and federal government and will respond appropriately as the situation changes.

We have temporarily reduced our operating hours as follows: M-F 8am – 5pm Sat 8am – noon. The evolving emergency may require additional operating adjustments. Be assured that we are doing everything we can to prevent further disruption in providing tire, vehicle repairs and maintenance services to our customers while implementing policy and procedures for the safety of our associates and consumers alike.
